DigiFin25 – Creating the Future Together

Digitisation, regulation, geopolitical uncertainty – the pace of change in the financial sector has rarely been as intense as it is today. DigiFin25 brings together key stakeholders to discuss the future of finance – and we’re right in the thick of it.

What to Expect at DigiFin25

On 18 November 2025, the digital finance community will gather in Berlin for DigiFin25 – a brand-new conference under the motto. “A New Era of Finance”. The goal: to establish a dialogue platform that connects technology, regulation, politics and the financial industry – at a time when the financial markets are undergoing fundamental transformation.

A Special Highlight: Fintech of the Year 2025 One of the most anticipated moments of the event will be the presentation of the “Fintech of the Year 2025” award. This prize recognises outstanding business models, innovation and entrepreneurship in the FinTech sector. Applications for the award are open until 3 October 2025.

The event is hosted by two well-established organisations: Bitkom, Germany’s digital association, and the industry platform Payment & Banking – working together to shape a future-ready financial ecosystem.

Three Themes Shaping the Future

DigiFin25’s agenda is built around three central themes that address the most pressing questions of the industry:

Security + Transformation
In a rapidly changing world, the financial and insurance sector provides a sense of stability – by enabling transformation while securing the future. Yet the sector itself requires security, through reliable regulation and long-term planning.

Resilience + Agility
Is the system crisis-proof or adaptable? Both are needed. Tomorrow’s financial and insurance systems must be resilient and able to respond flexibly. One core insight: there is no stability without innovation.

Trust + Innovation
Finance exists at the crossroads of tradition and disruption. Technologies such as blockchain, crypto-assets, Web3 and digital currencies offer huge potential – but innovation only works when trust is present. That means: integration into existing structures, clear rules, and societal acceptance.

Future Topics That Matter Today

Whether it’s artificial intelligence, central bank digital currencies or Open Finance – DigiFin25 brings not just cutting-edge technology to the stage, but also strategic and societal questions:

  • How can we foster trust in new technologies?
  • How can Europe remain competitive?
  • How do we combine innovation and stability?

“We are delighted to be on site as a law firm to contribute valuable insights – particularly at the intersection of regulation and innovation. DigiFin is the ideal place to engage with industry representatives on future-proof financial structures. And of course, we also look forward to reconnecting with friends and clients of Annerton at this key platform for the digital financial world.”
– Dr Florian Lörsch, Lawyer & Partner at Annerton
