Outlook: A Conversation with Dr Susanne Grohé

A highlight of PEX will again be a panel moderated by Dr Susanne Grohé, attorney at Annerton and expert in payment systems.

We asked her a few questions about the event in advance:

Why is PEX a must-attend event in your calendar?

“PEX is not only a platform for professional exchange but also a place where the most exciting challenges and solutions in our industry come to light. It’s where people come together to actively shape the payments of tomorrow.”

What will your panel focus on?

“The panel will address the challenges of safeguarding customer funds, BaFin’s requirements, practical difficulties, ambiguities arising from MiCAR, and comparisons with other European countries. This topic is currently occupying many German payment and e-money institutions.”

Which stories are you most looking forward to and why?

“I am particularly looking forward to stories that show how technology can improve people’s lives – whether through faster and more secure payments or the seamless integration of digital identities.”
