Dynamic currency conversion (DCC) is a procedure through which the currency of a payment transaction can be automatically converted using MasterCard and Visa payment cards. DCC enables the cardholder to pay in the card currency instead of the merchant currency. The merchant currency is the currency in which the merchant offers goods or services for sale. The card currency is the currency in which the issuer of a payment card maintains the account allocated to the payment card.
