The term “payment service provider” is a collective term for all companies providing payment services. The term is defined in Section 1 para. 1 sentence 1 of the German Payment Services Supervision Act (ZAG). Payment service providers include, for example, CRR credit institutions, e-money institutions and payment institutions.
