Limited range

The term “limited range” refers to an exemption defined in Section 2 para. 1 no. 10b of the German Payment Services Supervision Act (ZAG). If this exemption applies, a product which normally requires a licence can be introduced to the market without a licence. A limited range can include, for example, payment cards which one can only be used to purchase certain products (e.g. certain fuel cards or canteen cards).
