In his last blog article, Christian dealt with licence rental and gave an example to show what to look out for when renting a licence – and also the risks involved.

Since this is a topic that concerns many of our clients, I have discussed it again with Christian, also for those who would rather listen than read or would like to deepen the subject. In the 57th episode of PayTechTalk, Christian and I talk about all the things behind the terms licence rental, License as a Service, Banking as a Service, BIN Rental, BIN Sponsoring, Sponsor Bank Relationship – and what the difference is between renting a car or renting a licence.

Sit back and enjoy PayTechTalk 57 (the podcast is in German).

P. S. And for those who want to re-read: Christian explains the procedure and the pitfalls very clearly using an example of two female founders who built THE killer app for mobile banking, but unfortunately do not have a license. Click here for the article.
