Platforms and Marketplaces – and the PSD2. What to look out for

A few weeks ago I was invited to the Fireside Chat by solarisBank, where I had an extremely entertaining and profound conversation about the PSD2, platforms and marketplaces with their CPO: Dr. Joerg Howein.

Among other topics, we talked about the consequences of the existing regulatory landscape for payment transactions (PSD) and what we can expect from the PSD2 when it is implemented in January 2018 – especially with regard to the impact on marketplaces and platforms.
